Feel the centuries
Museum Klooster Ter Apel is an outing in peace and quiet. Leave your worries behind for a while and discover how the brothers lived here in the Middle Ages.

The men who entered this monastery in the Middle Ages left the world behind. You can do this too by putting on a religious robe, lighting a candle in church, or by standing behind the lectern in the refectory. Lie on a straw mattress in the sleeping cells or smell the herbs in the herb garden. Don't forget to take a look at one of our permanent or temporary exhibitions.
